I fucking LOVED this damn movie! This is one of the BEST low low budget hairas I have ever seen! Fuck! It's got elements of Night Of The Demons, and that is a plus in my eyes!

One of my favorite movies- it's an absolute unsung MASTERPIECE (although, I sure as hell have been raving about it for the better part of 2 decades now). Actually, the scenes where we meet the 20-somethings drag a little. But other than that, this film is fantastic, BONE-CHILLING horror perfection. It almost makes me feel a little guity knowing that this was heavily inspired by The Evil Dead. Which I love and, now it's like I have to choose which between them is superior. But it helps that I think in the House was also inspired by Lucio Fulci's not very good zombie films and the Friday the 13th series. And a little bit of The Shining. But in the era of the low budget late 80's horror film, they all pale in comparison (well, except for Brain Damage which is almost as good and Killer Klowns from Outer Space which is equally as good).
